2016 Ram 3500 Tradesmen Chassis Cab

The new 2016 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab truck brings more than enough capability and efficiency to the table, helping you accomplish all your business needs. This vehicle offers a new, more adjustable power takeoff system that serve both sides of the truck. The PTO output has a best in class 60 horsepower, thanks to a four cylinder mode on the gasoline V8. This produces higher efficiency when using a truck to run a generator or compressor.

Do you need to go farther and get more done than the competition? You can add an available 22-gallon fuel tank to the current 52-gallon fuel tank to enhance your fuel capacity to a Best-in Class 74 gallons. This will give you the ability to travel farther and make less stops on those long-haul trips. Ram offers dual alternators that when paired with the available 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine, it provides a Best-in-Class maximum 440 amps.

The Standard 6.4L Hemi v8 engine has two transmission choices, the standard 66RFE six-speed automatic or the available AISIN AS66RC six-speed that diminishes fuel consumption while using cruise mode. Without losing strength, you’re able to build your powertrain to provide performance.

This engine produces 370 horsepower, 429 lb-ft of torque, a towing capacity of 19,950 LBS, and so much more including:

  • Best-in-Class 10,000-miles oil change interval.
  • Best-in-Class torque on the Ram 3500 model.
  • Engine shut-off timer.
  • Best-in-Class standard front Gross Axle Weight Rating of up to 7,000 pounds.
