The Dodge Challenger T/A Is Back For 2017

The Dodge Challenger T/A is back for 2017. The name comes from the recognizable model Dodge used in the SCCA's Trans-Am racing series back in the 1970's. This model will be available for ordering some time in October and will come in three different trims; T/A, T/A Plus, and T/A 392. All 3 models will give you the thrill and perform just as you would except from the Dodge Challenger.

2017 Dodge Challenger T/A 392

The T/A and T/A Plus models come equipped with a 5.7-liter V-8 that pumps out 375 horsepower, around the same as the Challenger R/T. The T/A 392 is rocking the massive 6.4-liter V-8 giving the car 485 horsepower. Dodge decked out each T/A model with a standard performance exhaust system that makes the vehicle roar a whole lot louder, but sadly it doesn't add any engine power.
You'll notice right off the bat that all 3 models are equipped with a new hood that has a enormous center-mounted scoop. The satin black rear wing, body-side stripes, rear wing, and fuel-filler door brings back details from the iconic '70s muscle car. The T/A also comes with a similar air design from the Hellcat that sucks in air through both headlamps to the engine intake. Optional Old-school pins are available for those who want to keep the hood secured.
